About The Artist...

Kasi Kubiak is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, currently residing in Houston, Texas. With over a decade of experience, she combines fine portraiture, mural painting, illustration and design. These varied pursuits have gained the artist local media coverage, as well as the opportunity to illustrate two children's books for Boyds Mills Press. Publication in magazines such as CMYK have also helped to further exposure of her work.

Kasi has also exhibited and sold work both locally and nationally, participating in the first "RISD on the Road" group exhibition which traveled throughout the United States. Her passion for art also calls for travel, which has led her across the world for inspiration and research. Portrait work includes academic, corporate and private commissions. She also enjoys numerous mural commissions for private homes, corporate offices and designer showrooms. Professional memberships include the American Society of Portrait Artists, Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and Houston Society of Illustrators.
